Delectable Chip Cookies Made with Ghee to Satisfy Your Sweet Cravings

These are baked treats filled with ingredients like chocolate, nuts, fruits, and grains, to name a few. Our chocolate chip cookie recipe is simply the best! We have given a healthier twist to the traditional cookie recipe by replacing butter with Godrej Jersey ghee. These chewy, soft, and utterly irresistible chocolate chip cookies will become a household favourite. The magic ratio of brown to white sugar in addition to Godrej Jersey ghee will play a major role in its taste. Although it may seem like a minor distinction, it has a significant impact on the cookie`s texture. White sugar creates the sweet, gooey middle, while the brown sugar gives it crispy edges with caramel flavour and ghee will make it soft & crumbly.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients

      ​❖ Godrej Jersey ghee

      ❖ Eggs

      ❖ Vanilla

      ❖ Baking Soda

      ❖ Water

      ❖ Salt

      ❖ Flour

      ❖ Chocolate Chips

      ❖ White & Brown Sugar

      ❖ Nuts (as per your preference)

Directions to Make Cookies
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Step 2: Create a mix of Godrej Jersey ghee, white sugar, and brown sugar in a big bowl and blend until smooth.
Step 3: One at a time, beat in the eggs. Add vanilla and mix until colour looks the same.
Step 4: Dissolve baking soda in hot water to mix it precisely. Add this to batter along with salt, flour, choco chips, and nuts. Stir until a gooey dough is achieved.
Step 3: Drop a spoonful of dough on the baking sheets and keep them 2 inches apart.
Step 4: Finally, bake the same in the preheated oven until the cookie turns brown and the edges should also be nicely browned. You have to keep it in the oven for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Finally, remove the baking sheet briefly and remove the wire rack to cool them down completely.
Step 6: Your homemade cookie is ready to fulfil your cravings and be on your favourite list forever.

Tips for the Perfect Chocolate Cookies
❖ Place the cookie in the middle oven rack for even baking. You can bake one sheet at a time.
❖ The ratio of flour, sugar, and choco chips can be as per your taste and preference.

❖ To make cleanup easier, line flat cookie sheets with parchment paper. To prevent the cookies from colliding with one another as they spread, make sure to give the dropped dough plenty of air space.
❖ Make jumbo cookies by scooping the dough with a measuring cup or cookie/ice cream scoop.
❖ Bake the dough until the edges are set after dropping it 3 inches apart (centres will be soft).
❖ What makes a soft, chewy cookie as opposed to a crisp, crunchy cookie is the result of extensive baking science. The quantity and kind of sugars used, the quantity of ghee or shortening, and the amount of flour added all affect the final product.
❖ The best method for measuring flour is to give it a little stir prior to spooning it into the measuring cup. Fill the lid, then use the flat edge of a butter knife to scrape the excess off from the top.
